Wyjuana Montgomery

Seattle native Wyjuana Montgomery is an International Speaker, award-winning author, and runs WYJUANA SPEAKS Consulting LLC. She holds a B.A. in
African & African-American Studies from Duke University and a M.A. in
Organizational Management from Ashford University. Wyjuana created the NO FEAR Ladies Conference which ran for seven years, inspiring women and teen girls across the United States and internationally. She is the  author of Bold, Brave and Courageous: A NO FEAR Success Guide for Teen Girls (2016), which earned the 2018 Feathered Quill Bronze Award for Teen Nonfiction, 2018 IAN Outstanding Young Adult Nonfiction Award and was a Finalist for Best Debut Non-Fiction Book. Her latest work, The Pain of Being Destined for More: Getting to the Next Level Spiritually, Professionally or Personally (2023), is poised  to help women heal from emotional pain and trauma. Wyjuana’s reputation as a community educator and advocate for women and teen girls has made her a sought-after speaker and facilitator for business, community and faith-based  events. She also founded the Reach Forward Foundation Youth Mentorship Program and received the Women of Color Expo’s Impact Woman of the Year Award in 2018. She continues this work in Oklahoma City where she lives with her husband of 20+ years, children and dogs.
