Gregory Ormson is the author of Yoga Song, Rochak Press 2022; and Lantern Audiobook, 2023. Midwest Intimations was his winning longform lyric essay in Eastern Iowa Review’s nonfiction contest (2017). He was awarded Indiana Review’s 13-word story contest prize (2015). His writing has garnered Honorable Mention and Finalist positions in contests by: Bellingham Review, The Rigel Nonfiction Writing Contest, The Watson Desert Writing Contest, and New Millenium. His work is published in Cut Bank, Quarterly West, The Portland Review (this week), The Good Men Project, Turk’s Head Review, Sunspot Literary Magazine, Oddball Magazine, Empty Mirror, Trinity Lutheran Seminary Review, The Twin Bill, Unlimited Literature, Seventh Quarry (Wales), and others. Stories Emerge Like Bears is his current book project.

Ormson’s yoga writing has appeared in over 100 articles in 23 national and international journals, magazines, websites, and periodicals, including OM Yoga Magazine (UK), Yoga International, Elephant Journal, and Asana International Yoga Journal (India) He publishes on motorcycling with American Rider Magazine, and others.
