Denise Tolan
Denise Tolan is a writer and professor of English in San Antonio, Texas. She has presented at the Dallas-Fort Worth Writers Conference, Desert Nights Rising Stars at the Virginia C. Piper Center for Creative Writing at Arizona State University, and the Scissortail Creative Writing Festival. Her work has been included in places such as the Penn Review, Atlas and Alice, The Saturday Evening Post, Lunch Ticket/Amuse Bouche, and The Best Small Fictions.
Denise has published a memoir, Italian Blood (2023), with CavanKerry Press. Italian Blood was a finalist for the Eric Hoffer book award and a Reader’s Choice award.
