Sydney Pruett
Sydney Pruett (she/her) is a licensed therapist and published writer. As a person living with OCD and invisible disabilities, she is passionate about mental health education, disability awareness, and equality for all. Sydney has nonfiction articles and poems in various publications, and is currently working on her first novel. Her therapy practice was a 2025 finalist for Best of the 405, Oklahoma Community’s Choice Awards, and Metro Family Favorites.
Sydney offers consulting for authors to ensure that their characters and nonfiction are written accurately from a psychological standpoint. She can help with writing about mental health or disability accurately and consistently, checking for diversity and authentic representation, providing information for nonfiction works, and ensuring characters are responding to situations in ways that fit with human psychology.
