Merle Davenport has spent the last 25 years working as a teacher inside prisons. His master’s thesis and his doctoral dissertation both focused on aspects of criminal behavior. He has taught numerous programs aimed helping inmates change the way they think so they can alter their behavior. When he’s not teaching or working on some new project to help inmates change their lives, he enjoys woodworking and writing historical romance novels with his wife.
