Julie Caldwell is an award winning and bestselling Young Adult Author. Born and raised in Oklahoma, she still resides locally with her two black cats Absynthe and Hemlock. Julie fell in love with reading when she was very young and that quickly translated into her love of writing, first with poems, and then with full length novels. She has a love of anything mythological or having to do with the occult and her novels often reflect this. Her debut duology (Of Witches and Ruin, Of War and Magic) along with her newest novel (Secret of the Acolytes) were all top three bestsellers on the BestofBooksOK bestseller list for Children and Young Adults. Julie is a 2024 recipient of the NextGen Under 30 Oklahoma award which honors creative and innovative leaders in Oklahoma under 30 years old. The second book in her YA Dark Academia series, Raven’s Cove Academy Chronicles, is set to be released in Fall of 2026.
