Dave Walker
Dave Walker is best known in Tulsa OK as the leader of the Tulsa Police Department’s Homicide Squad that is featured on A&E’s The First 48. He has led investigations into officers as suspects in murders, racially charged officer shootings of unarmed men, and other nationally known homicide cases.
Walker retired in 2018. He received the Medal of Valor as a patrol officer, the Oklahoma Chiefs of Police Commendation as an undercover supervisor, and two Chiefs commendations for leading violent crime task forces as the Robbery supervisor. Walker speaks openly of the toll on the soul, answering the call 24 hours daily. Walker uses the phrase I cry alone.
Walker uses social media and his podcast forum Solve’em When you Get’em to reach the True Crime fans and law enforcement community. The goal is to bridge the police community divide and to Save the Six-Year-Olds. He is a baseball fan and coach and plays catch to combine his research and passion for the game into a positive outcome for society. Walker volunteers on Tulsa’s Human Rights Commission, Tulsa’s Crime Stoppers board and the World Baseball Organization RBI program.
