Member of Operations and Programming committees for 2009.
I've been in fandom since 2000, beginning with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I've written fic, read reams, edited a good bit, and survived the cancellation of several shows since that time. In 2004 and 2006, I served as Chair for Writercon, and I now gratefully pass the reins to Rustyhalo and Scarlettgirl, with lots of advice, both solicited and unsolicited.
Hope to see you all at WC 09!
BtVS, Angel, Farscape, Veronica Mars, Dawson's Creek, QaF
I'm a member of the Registration Committee for Writercon 2009.
I was also a part of the Registration team for Writercon 2006 and was a volunteer for Writercon 2004. I discovered online fandom after the end of BtVS season 5 and began writing fanfiction shortly after that. Fandom has really enriched my life, introducing me to friends and experiences I never would have had otherwise.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Harry Potter, Supernatural, Doctor Who, Torchwood
Denny is Chair of Guest Relations for Writercon 2009.
Started writing fan fiction in 2004 in the Buffyverse (okay, Spuffyverse:), but managed to fall in love with other fandoms over the years, with a notoriously crazed obsession with the "Moonlight". Other than that, I just love hanging out and traveling to cons:)!!!
I started in the Buffyverse fandom, especially in love with AtS. But since then my fandoms have expanded into all sorts of neat obsessions. Which include (oddly enough) quite a few canceled TV shows...so the list begins... Moonlight, Farscape (and yes, I watched it for the first time in 2008), Stargate (SG1 and Atlantis - again a newbie in both), and my newest love is True Blood. I must admit though I've only written fan fiction in the Whedonverse and Moonlight. I'm also getting quite excited about Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, even thinking about a Cameron/Illyria crossover fic with Connor and John Connor (hehehe), but that certainly means the show is about to be canceled!
Harmonyfb is the Programming Chair for Writercon. She has a particular fondness for vampires, time-travelers, and down-on-their-luck PI's who deal with the supernatural, but thinks fandoms everywhere are pretty nifty.

Full time physician, overtime mother of two, semi-successful gardener, always a fanfic writer, I didn't discover fandom until I was nearly thirty when I was bored, on call and surfing the net. Who knew others were writing fanfiction...and were posting it on the net? (What can I say? I apparently did grow up in a box.) Started writing OT Star Wars fanfic when I was eleven when I thought fandom was just a yellow legal pad and a pencil.
I have been on the Writercon board since its inception. If memory serves me well, it started as a pipe dream sitting around a table at Shoreleave 2002. I'm excited to be planning our next gathering, and promise my evil little monkey, I mean youngest daughter will NOT be in tow this time.
Btvs/Angel
Star Wars (original trilogy)
Pirates of the Caribbean

I'm a member of the programming committee.
My first story was published in the Beauty and the Beast fanzine Spiral Staircase. I spent a time editing the Doctor Who newzine Enlightenment and was the first editor of Myth Makers. I'm still an ardent Doctor Who fan, and most of my fannish activities relate to that show and to Buffy and her friends, especially a certain blond vampire.
I've also dabbled in Smallville and Bones.
Besides those I've ficced for, I'm very fond of anything related to Superman and have become addicted to Bollywood.
I am Co-Chair of Writercon 2009 (along with the awesome scarlettgirl) and am also in charge of this website.
I've been fannish all my life, but joined online fandom in 2001 when I fell in love with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. For several years, I ran the fanfiction archive All About Spike. I've been attending conventions since Shore Leave 2002, and haven't missed a DragonCon since 2003, but Writercon is closest to my heart. (I'm also proof that you don't have to be a writer to love Writercon--readers like talking about fic and meeting their favorite authors, too!)
I loved Writercon 2004 so much that I joined the concom in 2006, for which I created the website and helped out with planning the con. I've also volunteered at several Vulkons, sat on panels at Writercon '06, and once squeed about Spander with Jane Espenson on a fanfiction panel in London in 2004. I'm looking forward to helping make sure that Writercon 2009 will be better than ever.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the new Doctor Who, Dorothy Dunnett's Lymond Chronicles, Life on Mars, Queer as Folk, A Song of Ice and Fire, Highlander, X-Files, & Veronica Mars.
Scarlettgirl is Co-Chair of Writercon 2009 (along with the fabulous rusty_halo!).
I came late to fandom and have never looked back. Tripping down the rabbit hole after discovering the BtVS forums on Television Without Pity, I fell in love the the fandom culture and, specifically, fanfiction. In recent years I’ve been charmed by the Brits and have drifted into the Whoverse fandoms including Doctor Who, Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures. I am also a compulsive organizer and mod or co-mod lots of stuff such as the managing community for the Whoverse fandom newsletters Who_Daily, Torchwood_Three and Soniclipstick; the TW100 drabble community and lifeonmartha.
I was a dogsbody volunteer at Writercon 2004, a programming captain in 2006 and am thrilled to be co-chairing Writercon 2009. I join my fellow concomm members in our unwavering commitment to making the 2009 event the best Writercon ever.
BtVS, Angel, Firefly, Doctor Who, Torchwood, The Sarah Jane Adventures and Jekyll. I've also been known to flirt with Life on Mars, Iron Man and Being Human.
A geek and a nerd long before these things were fashionable, Shaddyr has been a die-hard SF fan since childhood. Star Trek was her fandom "gateway drug"; Heinlein, L'Engle, Robinson, and McCaffry led her further down the slippery slope. In college, the discovery of fanfiction only led to deeper levels of addiction. A true SF&F junkie, she reads voraciously, ever in search of the next fix.
Shaddyr has run Hospitality at VCon, NonCon, ConFlikt as well as Writercon 04 and 06. She embraces the opportunity to feed people and get them drunk.
Though she's written Trek, Pretender, and BtVS, these days Shaddyr generally amuses herself by cooking up fanfics about one Dr. Rodney McKay. On occasion, she adds some music, stirs vigorously and bakes up a filk.

I'm Facilities Chair for Writercon 2009. (I was one of the programming coordinators for WC06, sat on the badfic panel, and helped DJ the dance.)
I started out writing in the Buffy & Angel fandoms, wrote for No Limits when Angel ended, drifted into Veronica Mars, and currently am squeeing about Supernatural and Sarah Connor Chronicles. I always come out to play for Yuletide, Remix, Femslash, and Apocalyptothon. Fanfic is my fandom.
I am the Volunteers Chair.
In the summer of 2001, while waiting for the 6th season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer to begin, I went hunting for information about whether another slayer would be called and in the process of getting an answer to that question, I discovered fandom. I wrote my first fic in February 2002 - in script style no less - and never looked back. I write and beta, but am probably known for my work with the stop_plagiarism community on Livejournal.
Primary: Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Firefly
Secondary: Bones, Doctor Who (new), Dollhouse, Legend of the Seeker, LOST, Sarah Connor Chronicles, SG1 & SGA, Supernatural, and Veronica Mars
